Helping Schools Support Families Who Fall Through the Cracks

Every school has families who fall through the gaps. A transfer student who lost bus eligibility. A family just outside the route boundary. A working parent who can't make dismissal. KidHop partners with schools to make sure no child misses out on their education because of transportation — and we'd love to work with you to reach the families who need us most.

Together, we're building more than a transportation network. We're creating a community of trusted Driver Partners, Chaperones, families, and schools — all working toward the same goal: helping every student show up ready to learn.

A Problem Schools See Every Day

Transportation barriers are one of the most common reasons students miss school, arrive late, or disengage from extracurricular activities. Counselors and administrators hear about it regularly — parents scrambling, students waiting, families stretched too thin.

KidHop isn't asking schools to solve this problem. We're asking to be part of the solution.

By connecting your families with reliable, affordable, professionally operated transportation, KidHop helps students show up — on time, less stressed, and ready to learn.

Together, we strengthen school communities by giving working families the dependable routines and peace of mind they need — and giving children the opportunity they deserve.

How KidHop Works With Schools

KidHop is not asking schools to manage or oversee our service. We handle everything on the family side. What we ask from school partners is simple:

  • Share our information with families who have expressed transportation challenges
  • Allow us to be listed as a recommended resource for families in need
  • Connect us with the right staff member (counselor, registrar, or family liaison) to coordinate awareness

In return, KidHop will:

  • Prioritize routing in your school's area during the pilot
  • Keep school staff informed of any relevant logistics (pickup procedures, dismissal coordination)
  • Build trusted relationships with families through consistent, dependable routines, giving them peace of mind

Camps & After-School Programs

KidHop's model is well suited for camps, after-school programs, and enrichment centers that serve children whose parents can't always arrange pickup.

If your program regularly has students waiting for rides that don't arrive on time — or families who can't enroll because of transportation barriers — let's talk. KidHop may be able to build a route that serves your program's families directly, creating dependable routines that give working families peace of mind.

This is an area we are actively exploring as the pilot develops.
